SMOKED CHORIZO SAUSAGE
Kowalski's Smoked Chorizo Sausage is one of several popular flavors of our Signature Sausages available in the Meat Department. It's great on the grill – just heat and eat.
Prepare a package of plain couscous according to package directions, adding a pinch of saffron, a dried bay leaf and 1/4 cup or so of thawed frozen peas to the cooking liquid and substituting chicken broth for all or part of the water called for. Stir in chopped green olives with pimentos and chopped dried figs just before serving.
HEIRLOOM TOMATO SALAD WITH BAGUETTE
Layer slices of multicolored Minnesota-grown tomatoes on a platter; drizzle with Kowalski’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Kowalski's Balsamic Vinegar and sprinkle lightly with kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Pick up a traditional French baguette in the Bakery Department.
SPANISH CHEESE PLATE
Serve manchego cheese with Marcona almonds and fresh or dried figs. Also look for chocolate-covered dried figs (ChocoHigos) in the Imported Cheese Department.
