Healthy Stirfry

BASIC STIRFRY
Make a simple stirfry with your favorite veggies, proteins and a basic stirfry sauce: in a glass measuring cup, whisk together ½ cup water, 3 tablespoons ponzu, 1 tbsp. seasoned rice vinegar, 1 tbsp. grated and peeled fresh ginger, 1 tbsp. superfine sugar, 2 tsp. pressed fresh garlic (about 2 cloves, peeled and crushed with a garlic press), 1 tsp. corn starch, 1 tsp. Asian sesame oil and Asian hot sauce (such as Sriracha) or crushed red pepper flakes to taste, if desired. Add to a stir fry in last 2 minutes of cooking.

NOODLES
Brown rice is nice, especially when it’s a noodle. Try Annie Chun’s Maifun or Pad Thai noodles. Find them in the International Foods Aisle.

GINGER SNAPS
