Fresh Spring Desserts

Spring breathes brightness and lightness into our winter-weary hearts this month, and we're celebrating with sunny and fresh flavors for your dessert table! Make them yourself or head to the Bakery Department, where we're introducing some beautiful and delicious new pastries, cakes and so much more this season. Look for these tempting taste treats to arrive in stores after April 15th:
LEMON HEAVEN CAKE (pictured at right) – An angel food cake filled with sweet-tart lemon curd and iced with a lighter-than-air whipped frosting – and we just love its angel-approved name! Light, airy, tender, pillowy sweet with just the right lemon tang, this tall beauty will be the crowning glory of any seasonal get-together!
CHEESECAKE (NEW!) – After extensive, exhausting but delicious research, we've reformulated our handmade, fresh-baked cheesecake to be not just better than ever, but better than any we've tried. Now with a traditional graham crust, this new cheesecake has a luscious, thick-but-still-creamy texture and a just-right, lightly sweet cheese filling. We think you'll agree it's the best around.
FRESH FRUIT TARTS (pictured at right) – Look for sharable-sized, classic-style fresh fruit tarts with fresh flavors like lemon, raspberry, blueberry and more. We've even redesigned a chocolate tart for dessert purists!
FRESH FRUIT-TOPPED CHAMPAGNE CAKE – Our perfectly sweet Champagne Cake couldn't resist getting in on the fresh and fruity party this season. It's being piled high with fresh blackberries, making it even more beautiful than ever. Great for any spring party!
