Makes about 2 cups
- 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained, liquid reserved
- 1/3 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, halved
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne
In food processor bowl, combine first 6 ingredients and process until smooth. Refrigerate, covered, to blend flavors.
To Serve: Spoon into serving bowl; serve with pita bread, carrot and celery sticks.
