Rosemary Lemonade

Ingredients: 
  • 5 cups ice-cold water, divided
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh rosemary leaves, plus 4 small stems for garnish
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 lemon slices
Instructions: 

In a small saucepan, mix 2 cups water and sugar; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until sugar is completely dissolved. Add rosemary leaves; remove the mixture from the heat. Cool completely (about 1 hr.). Strain into a pitcher; add 3 cups water and lemon juice. Stir well; serve over ice with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a lemon slice.
