Apple Cheddar Crisp with Orange Cranberry Marmalade Topping
- 7 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 13 oz. jar Stonewall Kitchen Orange Cranberry Marmalade
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cold butter
In a large mixing bowl, stir together first 7 ingredients; transfer to a 9x13" baking pan. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and cheese; cut in butter with a pastry blender or two knives. When well blended and crumbly, sprinkle topping on the apples; bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 min. Serve warm topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
