Apple Cheddar Crisp with Orange Cranberry Marmalade Topping
7 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. flour
1 (13oz.) jar Stonewall Kitchen Orange Cranberry Marmalade
1/2 cup flour
1 cup quick oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cold butter
In a large mixing bowl, stir together first seven ingredients; transfer to a 9x13" baking pan. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and cheese; cut in butter with a pastry blender or two knives. When well blended and crumbly, sprinkle topping on the apples; bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 min. Serve warm topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
