Asian Fusion BBQ Sauce

Makes about 1 cup

2 tbsp. brown sugar

1/4 tsp. kosher salt

1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper

2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

3/4 cup ketchup

2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

2 tbsp. orange juice

2 tbsp. honey

3 tbsp. rice vinegar

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

1 tsp. fish sauce


In a medium saucepan over high heat, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Stir frequently until mixture is reduced to about 1 cup (about 10 min.). May be refrigerated, covered, up to 1 week.
