Margherita Pizza Turkey Burgers

  • 1 (20 oz.) pkg. extra lean ground turkey breast
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. Kowalski's Bold Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Kowalski's Coarse Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Kowalski's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 (26 oz.) jar Kowalski's Thick & Hearty Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
  • 5 tbsp. Kowalski's Traditional Basil Pesto, divided
  • 5 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 5 Kowalski's Take & Bake Ciabatta Rolls, baked according to pkg. directions

In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients; shape into 5 patties. In large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat; add patties browning on first side (3 min.). Turn; continue cooking 3 min. longer. Reduce heat to medium; add pasta sauce and continue cooking an additional 5 min. Turn; top each burger with 1 tbsp. pesto and slice of mozzarella. Cover pan; continue cooking until cheese melts (about 5 min.). Serve on ciabatta roll.
