Muir Glen® Tandoori Garbanzo And Tomato Stew
In 2 qt. saucepan, heat oil over high heat. Cook onion, garlic, ginger root and garam masala in oil until onions are light brown (about 2 min.). Stir in tomatoes with juice. Simmer 5 min., stirring occasionally. Stir in garbanzo beans; simmer 15 min. longer, stirring occasionally and moistening with a little water if necessary. Stir in cilantro, lemon juice and salt. Garnish with a dollop of yogurt and additional chopped cilantro, if desired.
