Candied Sweet Potatoes and Apples
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 apples, sliced
- 2 (17 oz.) cans vacuum-packed sweet potatoes, sliced
In small bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, pecans and cinnamon until crumbly; set aside. In buttered 1 qt. casserole, layer 1/3 of sweet potatoes and apples. Sprinkle with 1/3 brown sugar mixture. Repeat layers 2 more times. Bake in a preheated 375° oven until heated through (20-25 min.).
