Mascarpone-Berry Crostini

Makes 25-30

Ingredients

1 Kowalski's Fresh Baguette (from the Artisan Bread Table in the Bakery Department)
- melted butter, for brushing baguette slices
¼ cup superfine sugar
2 tsp. Kowalski's Ground Cinnamon
8 oz. mascarpone cheese
- assorted fresh berries, stems removed, rinsed and drained
- Kowalski’s Pure Honey, to taste

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Slice baguette ¾" thick on the diagonal; lightly brush both sides of each baguette slice with melted butter.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, completely combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over both sides of bread.
  4. Arrange bread in a single layer on a baking sheet; bake in preheated oven for 5 min.
  5. Turn; continue baking for 2 min. more.
  6. Remove crostini from oven; set aside to cool.
  7. Spread one side of each crostini with mascarpone; top with berries.
  8. Drizzle lightly with honey; serve immediately.
