Class Disclaimers and FAQs

What can I expect at a Kowalski's class?

  • Unless otherwise noted, our classes are lecture/demo format rather than hands-on.
  • There will be plenty of samples to enjoy! Classes are not intended to fully replace meals, but we serve generous sample portions of the foods and recipes featured in each program.
  • Some classes feature wine, beer or cocktail pairings. Please see our alcohol policy below.

I have a food allergy. Can you make accommodations?

We will do our best. Our classroom spaces are not allergen free, but if you would like to request special accommodations for a dietary allergy or intolerance, please use the Comments box at checkout to notify us.

Can children or teens attend?

Our classes are designed for adults. Young adults between 14 and 15 years of age may register along with an adult. Youth ages 16 and up may attend by themselves.

What is your alcohol policy?

If you would like to sample any wine, beer or cocktail pairings that may be included in your program, please bring a valid ID with you to class. Guests must be at least 21 years old to consume alcohol, and we ask that all guests drink responsibly. Water is offered at no charge during all classes.

I need to cancel my class registration. How do I do this?

Please contact our Call Center at 651-313-6870 for class refunds. If you need to cancel your class reservation, we ask that you give us at least 48 hours' notice.

What happens if my class is canceled or rescheduled?

Typically, we'll hold a class with a minimum of nine guests. Certain classes may require higher enrollment. Low enrollment notices will be issued no later than 24 hours before the class via email. If a class needs to be canceled due to inclement weather or for any other reason, we'll make every attempt to contact each registrant 2 hours prior to the start of class via email. A full credit will be issued if we cancel a class. If we reschedule a class and you can no longer attend, you will also be issued a full refund.
