Bakery Department (Part Time)

Seeking long term (available year round) employees for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Ability to meet and exceed standards for productivity, freshness standards, as well as accuracy with adherence to product quality, stocking, facing, and rotation; at times, working independently without supervision.

Requirements:

  • Flexible hours ranging from 5 to 6 am shift start time to 10 or 11 am shift start time
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interest in preparing, handling and baking food 
  • Interest in product knowledge
  • Ability to regularly lift sheet pans of product at or above shoulder level
  • Food handling experience is preferred but not necessary

Deli Department (Part Time)

Seeking a long term (available year-round) employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required as the emphasis in this position is on providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers. Primary learning challenges include knowledge of Deli procedures, food safety and sanitization, presentation standards, safe operation of Deli equipment, and proper preparation of product. Position requires ongoing moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, standing, bending, operation of Deli equipment (slicers, scales, and knives), and exposure to hot surfaces and oils. Must have superior social, judgment and decision-making skills, reading, writing, and math skills. Position functions and work directions are provided by the Deli Manager, Deli Supervisor, Manager on Duty, or Store Manager. Ideal candidates would have a willingness and desire to be trained and work as backup morning or evening hot foods cook.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Flexible to schedule 25 to 39 hours/week
  • Looking to fill daytime and evening shifts, including weekends and some holidays
  • Shift start times include: 6am, 9am-11am and 2pm
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Interest in preparing, handling and cooking food
  • Interest in product knowledge
  • Food-handling experience preferred but not required

Cashier & Courtesy (Part Time)

Seeking a long term (available year-round) employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Efficiently process customer orders; scan items; process several forms of payment; develop memorization skills; and carefully package groceries. No experience needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be available to work mornings and/or evenings, weekends and some holidays.
  • Flexible to schedule start times from 8am and 10am - 9pm and 10pm
  • Ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • High level of direct customer service
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated and energetic 

Starbucks Lead Assistant (Part-Time)

Seeking a long term (Available year-round) employee for a fast paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required; creating the “Starbucks experience” by providing prompt and courteous service to customers while accurately brewing and mixing Starbucks beverages. Emphasis in this position will be in maintaining the Starbucks booth functions, organization of product, analyzing sales, ordering merchandise and scheduling of employees. Primary learning challenge is in product knowledge, promotional launches, task timeliness and training of new employees. Position requires standing/walking, excellent decision making and verbal social skills. Position functions and work discretion are provided by the Starbucks Manager or Store Manager.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Have an interest in coffee, espresso beverages and specialty blended beverages
