Maintenance Specialist (Part Time - Hours Vary)

The roles and responsibilities of this position include day-to-day maintenance, repairs and problem-solving around the store, including:

  • Lighting needs (installing and changing bulbs, ballasts, etc.)
  • Sink/plumbing issues (leaking faucets, drain leaks, etc.)
  • Power jack and forklift preventative maintenance
  • Kitchen garbage disposal repairs
  • Automatic door repairs
  • Changing filters and repairing/assessing minor refrigeration and fan issues in cooler and freezer cases
  • Hanging pictures, banners, signage, etc.
  • Touch-up painting
  • Basic building material projects (tile, molding, baseboards, McCue bumpers, trimming, etc.). Hand tool knowledge required.
  • General cleaning as needed for Store Manager and Department Managers
  • Shelving installation and repairs

Grocery, Dairy & Frozen Foods Stocker (Part Time)

Requirements:

  • Able to work 25-30 hours/week
  • Available to work 3-10 p.m. during the week, noon-8 p.m. on the weekends, and on holidays
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to meet and exceed standards for productivity, stocking, facing and rotation
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and strong customer service skills

Cashier (Part Time)

Seeking a long term (available year-round) employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required.  Efficiently process customer orders; scan items; process several forms of payment; develop memorizations skills; and carefully package groceries. No experience needed.

Requirements:

  • Available to work 2-10 p.m. or 4-10 p.m., including weekends and holidays
  • Flexible to schedule
  • Ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • High level of direct customer service
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask

Starbucks Baristas (Part Time)

Emphasis in this position is in serving our customers with the "Starbucks Experience." You will be given the skills needed to accurately create handmade, custom beverages for our customers, while providing a warm, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Assignments and work direction provided by Store Manager or Starbucks Manager.

Requirements:

  • Available to work the opening shift at 5 a.m. or the closing shift until 8 p.m.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Flexible to schedule
  • Must be at least 16 years old

Bakery Department (Part Time)

Seeking long term (available year round) employees for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Ability to meet and exceed standards for productivity, freshness standards, as well as accuracy with adherence to product quality, stocking, facing, and rotation; at times, working independently without supervision.

  • Available to work afternoons/evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to regularly lift sheet pans of product at or above shoulder level
  • Food handling experience is preferred but not necessary

Deli Department (Part-Time)

Emphasis in this position is on providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers. Primary learning challenge includes knowledge of Deli procedures, food safety, presentation standards, safe operation of Deli equipment, and proper preparation of product. Position requires ongoing to moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, standing, operation of Deli equipment (slicers, scales, and knives), and exposure to hot surfaces and oils. Must have superior social, judgment and decision-making skills, reading, writing, and math skills. Position functions and work direction are provided by the Deli Manager, Deli Supervisor, Manager on Duty, or Store Manager. Ideal candidates would have a willingness and desire to be trained and work as a backup evening hot foods cook.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Available to work between the hours of noon-10:30 p.m. or 5-10:30 p.m., including weekends
  • Holiday availability is a must
  • Food handling experience is preferred but not necessary
