Deli Department (Part Time)

Seeking a long term (available year-round) employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Emphasis in this position is on providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers. Primary learning challenge includes knowledge of Deli procedures, food safety, presentation standards, safe operation of Deli equipment, and proper preparation of product. Position requires ongoing to moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, standing, operation of Deli equipment (slicers, scales, and knives), and exposure to hot surfaces and oils. Must have superior social, judgment and decision-making skills, reading, writing, and math skills. Food-handling experience preferred but not required.

Requirements:

  • Looking to fill morning, afternoon and evening shifts, up to 39 hours a week, including weekends and holidays

Meat Department (Part Time)

Seeking an employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Emphasis in this position is on providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers. Primary learning challenge is in developing product knowledge and proficiency with the equipment. Must have superior social, judgment and decision-making skills, reading, writing, and math skills. Position functions and work direction are provided by the Meat Manager, Manager on Duty, or Store Manager.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • High level of direct customer service
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.  
  • Self-motivated, energetic and extroverted
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to work up to 22 hours/week, including weekends and holidays
  • Looking to fill afternoon and evening shift
  • Attention to detail
  • Food-handling experience preferred
  •  Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers at the meat counter. 
  • Primary duties include stocking product, wrap product, and display freshly cut meat and seafood according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure that products meet standards for quality and freshness; ensure proper handling and sanitation.
  • Position requires ongoing moderate to heavy lifting, walking, standing, operating meat equipment, and exposure to hot surfaces and oils.

Bakery Department (Part Time) Pastry

Seeking long term (available year-round) employees for a fast paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Ability to meet and exceed standards for productivity, freshness standards, as well as accuracy with adherence to product quality, stocking, facing, and rotation; at times, working independently without supervision.

Requirements:

  • Available to work 30 - 39  hrs./week between the hours of 8am and 7pm including weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to regularly lift sheet pans of product at or above shoulder level
  • Food handling experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Pastry experience is preferred but not necessary.

Bakery Department Baker (Part Time)

Seeking long term (available year round) employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Ability to meet and exceed standards for productivity, freshness standards, as well as accuracy with adherence to product quality, stocking, facing, and rotation; at times, working independently without supervision.  

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • High level of direct customer service
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask. 
  • Available to work mornings (3 am) and afternoons including weekends and holidays up to 25 hours a week.
  • Ability to regularly lift sheet pans of product at or above shoulder level
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Food service experience preferred but not required

Bakery Department (Part Time)

  • Available to work 16 - 28  hrs./week between the hours of 12pm and 9pm including weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to regularly lift sheet pans of product at or above shoulder level
  • Food handling experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Self-motivated, energetic and extroverted

Food Demonstrator - Demo (Part Time)

Seeking long term (available year-round) employees. Emphasis in this position is providing courteous and accurate service to customers as well as proper preparation and display of product.

Requirements:

  • Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Position requires moderate lifting, walking, and standing, frequent repetitive motion and exposure to hot surfaces and oils.
  • Food handling experience is preferred but not necessary.
