Produce Department (Full Time)

Emphasis in this position is on meeting daily needs in stocking, product rotation, customer assistance, and load receiving. Primary learning challenge is product location, product knowledge, and receiving procedures. This position requires ongoing judgment/decision-making, social skills, verbal interaction, reading, moderate to heavy lifting, walking, operation of forklift pallet jack, box cutter, and exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces. Assignments and work direction are provided by the Produce Manager, Manager on Duty or Store Manager.

Perform stocking
• Ensure correct placement of stock
• Rotate stock for freshness
• Remove spoiled/damaged product from display
• Assist in markdowns of old product
• Straighten/build displays
• Handle product carefully to avoid damage
• Fill and maintain cooled display
Receives product and unloads trucks received
• Check product received for correct type and amount
• Properly log information and fills out invoices
• Check product for freshness and damage
• Properly sort stock and loads onto cart / pallet jack in stable manner and moves to proper area for stocking
• Date all products
• Store overstock in proper location
Maintaining Cleanliness
• Sweep and mop as needed
• Organize backroom
• Clean/sanitize utensils used
• Clean spills
- Properly dispose and separate cardboard and garbage

Starbucks Barista (Part Time)

Emphasis in this position is in serving our customers with the "Starbucks Experience." You will be given the skills needed to accurately create handmade, custom beverages for our customers, while providing a warm, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Assignments and work direction provided by Store Manager or Starbucks Manager.

Courtesy (Part Time)

Challenge of this position is in meeting Front-End standards for productivity and accuracy. Emphasis is placed on ability to relate in a positive and outgoing manner, excellent social skills, verbal interaction, and proper bagging techniques. This position requires direct customer contact, light lifting, and walking/standing. The majority of the shift is spent at the customer checkout. Position functions and work direction are provided by the Front-End Supervisor, Manager on Duty, or Store Manager.

Cashier (Part Time)

Efficiently process customer orders; scan items; process several forms of payment; develop memorizations skills; and carefully package groceries. Strong customer service skills required. No experience needed.

Deli Department (Part-Time)

Emphasis in this position is on providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers. Primary learning challenge includes knowledge of Deli procedures, food safety, presentation standards, safe operation of Deli equipment, and proper preparation of product. Position requires ongoing to moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, standing, operation of Deli equipment (slicers, scales, and knives), and exposure to hot surfaces and oils. Must have superior social, judgment and decision-making skills, reading, writing, and math skills. Position functions and work direction are provided by the Deli Manager, Deli Supervisor, Manager on Duty, or Store Manager. Ideal candidates would have a willingness and desire to be trained and work as a backup evening hot foods cook.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Flexible to schedule
  • Available to work between the hours of 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., including weekends and holidays
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Food handling experience is preferred but not necessary

Deli Evening Hot Foods Chef (Part Time)

Emphasis in this position involves providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers. Primary learning challenge is in product knowledge, executing proper preparation of salads, sandwiches, meals, and display of product in the Deli case. Position requires standing/walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) excellent decision making and social skills, and miscellaneous duties. Position functions and work discretion are provided by the Deli Manager, Deli Supervisor or Store Manager.
