Deli Department (Part Time)

Seeking a long term (available year-round) employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Emphasis in this position is on providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers. Primary learning challenge includes knowledge of Deli procedures, food safety, presentation standards, safe operation of Deli equipment, and proper preparation of product. Position requires ongoing to moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, standing, operation of Deli equipment (slicers, scales, and knives), and exposure to hot surfaces and oils. Must have superior social, judgment and decision-making skills, reading, writing, and math skills. Position functions and work direction are provided by the Deli Manager, Deli Supervisor, Manager on Duty, or Store Manager. Ideal candidates would have a willingness and desire to be trained and work as backup evening hot foods cook.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Flexible to schedule 20-25 hours a week
  • Looking to fill evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Interest in hot foods
  • Food-handling experience preferred but not required

Bakery Department (Part Time)

Seeking long term (available year round) employees for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Ability to meet and exceed standards for productivity, freshness standards, as well as accuracy with adherence to product quality, stocking, facing, and rotation; at times, working independently without supervision.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Flexible start time hours ranging from 5am to 11am
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interest in preparing, handling and baking food 
  • Interest in product knowledge
  • Ability to regularly lift sheet pans of product at or above shoulder level
  • Food handling experience is preferred but not necessary

Cashier & Courtesy (Part Time)

Seeking a long term (available year-round) employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Efficiently process customer orders; scan items; process several forms of payment; develop memorization skills; and carefully package groceries. No experience needed.

Requirements:

  • Available to work days, weekends and holidays. Must be available to work between 20-39 hours a week.
  • Flexible to schedule early mornings and evenings
  • Ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • High level of direct customer service
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated and energetic

Produce Clerk (Part Time)

Seeking a long term (available year-round) employee for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented position where strong customer service skills are required. Emphasis in this position is on providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers. Primary learning challenges include knowledge of Produce Department procedures, food safety, presentation standards, safe operation of department equipment, and proper preparation of product. Position requires ongoing moderate to heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs.), walking, and standing. Must have superior social, judgment and decision-making skills, reading, writing, and math skills.

Requirements:

  • Flexible to schedule 15 to 20 hours/week
  • Looking to fill midday/closing shifts. Typical shift would be 11am - 7pm. 
  • Holidays and weekends are required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Interest in produce product knowledge
  • Food-handling experience not required

Meat Clerk (Part Time)

Seeking a long term employee who would enjoy a chance to work with the highest quality meat programs in the country.  We will teach you how to cut meat, grind burger and various cooking techniques while using the best meat raised in the USA.  Prior experience working with food is helpful, but not required. 

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 20 to 30 hours/week
  • Closing shift
  • Holidays and weekends are required
