Davanni's Pizza & Hot Hoagies was founded on October 1, 1975, by three Edina High School classmates. Its flagship store still stands at Cleveland & Grand in Saint Paul. Today, Davanni's is still a locally owned (and now family-owned) restaurant chain with 21 Minnesota locations. Davanni's employs more than 1,000 Minnesotans.
