Luke Holt's career in the grocery business began at SuperValu in Litchfield, Minnesota, when he was 15 years old. He worked as all-around help and advanced to night manager-on-duty by the age of 16. At the age of 20, Luke traveled to Cordova, Alaska, during college summer break to crew on a commercial seine fishing vessel. This great opportunity gave him detailed insights into the commercial salmon fishing industry in Prince William Sound.

Luke began his career with Kowalski's Markets in 2013, starting in the Meat & Seafood Department. Since then, he has held many leadership roles in the company, including Meat & Seafood Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager. He has a passion for cooking and an appreciation for top-quality ingredients and how they are sourced. Luke's main responsibility as Meat & Seafood Director is working with producers and processors who share this passion for bringing truly all natural meats and sustainably caught seafood to the marketplace. He uses a civic organizing approach to lead our Meat & Seafood Department stakeholders throughout the company.
