Chocolate Croissant Parfaits

Serves 4

Ingredients

4 croissants
1 ¼ cup (approx.) chocolate sauce
3 tbsp. heavy cream
2 cups (approx.) Sweetened Whipped Cream, plus extra for garnish
6 oz. raspberries, plus extra for garnish
- Kowalski's Sliced Almonds, toasted, for garnish

Directions
  1. Thinly slice each croissant horizontally into 5-6 slices; lay in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe dish, heat chocolate sauce with cream in the microwave until very loose (about 1 min.).
  3. Drizzle chocolate mixture over croissant slices (they will be soaked with chocolate).
  4. Tear apart and layer soaked croissant pieces in 4 parfait glasses with whipped cream and raspberries.
  5. Garnish with extra whipped cream, raspberries and almonds.
