Italian Meatballs

Makes 20-22

Ingredients

⅔ cup plain breadcrumbs
2 ½ tbsp. Italian Seasoning
¾ cup milk
1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
½ lb. ground pork
1 egg

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning.
  3. Stir in milk; let stand for 10 min.
  4. Add meat and egg; using your hands, thoroughly mix until well blended (do not overmix).
  5. Using slightly wet hands, form meat mixture into 20-22 (1 ¾" to 2") balls.
  6. Arrange meatballs on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet; bake in preheated oven until done (about 25 min.).
  7. Serve as an appetizer or use them in your favorite pasta dish, such as our recipe for Simple Spaghetti and Meatballs.

Tasty Tip:

  • Meatballs can be arranged in a single layer and frozen for up to 2 months. To serve, thaw for up to 36 hrs. in the refrigerator.
