Toys For Tots Drive
From Monday, November 27, through Wednesday, December 13, we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys at all of our markets for the Marines' Toys For Tots Drive. Accepted items include:
- Games
- Action figures
- Dolls
- Baby toys
- Puzzles
- Homemade toys (must be free of sharp edges and small parts that could be swallowed)
Toys are distributed to kids from 0-15 years old. (Typically, there is a shortage of toys for infants and teenagers.)
Toys for Tots is a wonderful way to connect with the community and help out families during the holidays. KARE 11 sponsors this drive every year, and this year, they hope to raise $25,000 to support Toys for Tots Twin Cities. Monetary donations can be made on KARE 11's website. You can also donate directly to the Marines Toys for Tots Program.
