Curried Cream Cheese and Chutney Party Sandwiches

Ingredients: 

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/4 cup whipping cream

1/2 cup Stonewall Kitchen Old Farmhouse Chutney

1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans, toasted, divided

2 tsp. curry powder

1 small clove garlic, pressed

1 (16 oz.) loaf white bread, very thinly sliced

1/2 cup butter, softened

Instructions: 

In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and whipping cream on medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Stir in chutney, 1 cup pecans, curry powder and garlic until thoroughly combined.

To Serve: Spread cream cheese mixture on half of bread slices; cover with remaining bread slices. Trim crusts; cut sandwiches in half diagonally. Spread butter on outside edges of bread; roll in remaining chopped pecans. Serve immediately, or store covered with a damp paper towel in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
