Green Goodie Juice

Serves 2

Ingredients

This sweet "shake" is an excellent source of vitamins A, C and K.

1 cup chopped kale, no stems
1 cup seedless green grapes
1 cucumber, sliced
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped
½ cup water (or more as desired)
Order Groceries
Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor; purée until smooth.
  2. Thin with additional water, if desired.
  3. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 days; shake before serving.

 

VARIATION: For a Green Goodie Smoothie, add roughly 2 cups ice, 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt and 2 peeled bananas to ingredients. Serves 4.
