Ginger Simple Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 oz. fresh ginger, peeled, thinly sliced
Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add ginger; bring to a simmer. Remove from heat; let steep 30 min. Strain syrup; discard ginger. Store covered in the refrigerator.
