Ginger Icing

Easy
Makes about 1/2 cup
Ingredients: 

3-4 tbsp. Ginger Simple Syrup (recipe link below), to taste

2 cups confectioner's sugar

2 tbsp. unsalted butter, room temperature

- skim milk, as needed (a few spoonfuls at most)

Instructions: 

Prepare Ginger Simple Syrup as directed in that recipe. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth, whisking in milk a tiny bit at a time until desired consistency is reached. Drizzle or spread on cookies, brownies, cakes, coffee cakes, scones, banana bread or other pastries.
