Basic Stir Fry Sauce

Very Easy
Makes about 3/4 cup
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp. tamari
1 tbsp. seasoned rice vinegar
1 tbsp. grated, peeled fresh ginger
1 tbsp. superfine sugar
2 tsp. pressed fresh garlic (about 2 cloves, peeled and crushed with a garlic press)
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. Asian sesame oil
- Asian hot sauce (such as Sriracha) or crushed red pepper flakes to taste, if desired

In a glass measuring cup, whisk together all ingredients. Add to a stir fry in last 2 min. of cooking.
