Holiday Trifle

Serves 8

Ingredients

1 loaf Kowalski's Ginger Bread, cut into ½" cubes
2 cups (about 2 jars) filling, your choice: Kowalski's Classic Caramel Sauce, warmed gently in the microwave, or Kowalski's Lemon Curd
1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
1 loaf Kowalski's Pumpkin Bread, cut into ½" cubes
- Kowalski's Honey Roasted Pecans, for garnish
Order Groceries
Directions
  1. Divide ginger bread cubes evenly between 8 glass dessert dishes or other tall single-serving glasses.
  2. Spoon ½ of the filling evenly over bread cubes; top evenly with ½ of the whipped cream.
  3. Divide pumpkin bread cubes evenly between glasses (over the whipped cream layer).
  4. Dollop remaining filling over pumpkin bread cubes; top with remaining whipped cream.
  5. Garnish with chopped pecans; serve immediately.

Tasty Tips:

  • Wine glasses, highballs, large margarita glasses or parfait dishes also work for serving this recipe, or you can use a single glass trifle bowl.
  • You can also use two loaves of the same bread to make this recipe rather than one loaf of each. In the photo above, we layered Pumpkin Bread with Classic Caramel Sauce (front) and Ginger Bread with Lemon Curd (back).
