Toffee Blondies

Makes 16

Ingredients

½ cup Kowalski's Unsalted Butter, melted, cooled
2 eggs, lightly beaten
4 tsp. Kowalski's Organic Madagascar Vanilla Extract
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 ½ cups brown sugar
8 oz. pkg. Heath Bits o' Brickle English Toffee Bits (not chocolate-covered toffee bits)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together butter, eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients until thoroughly combined.
  4. Lightly spray a 9" square baking pan lightly with cookie spray; line bottom only with parchment paper.
  5. Spread batter evenly into bottom of pan; bake in preheated oven until top is shiny, cracked and light golden-brown (about 30 min.).
  6. Remove from oven; cool completely in pan.
  7. Cut into 16 squares before serving; store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
