Sesame-Soy Meatballs

Ingredients

⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. chile-garlic paste
1 bunch thinly sliced green onions (green and white parts)
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
¼ cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 lb. ground pork

Directions

Whisk together first 6 ingredients in a small mixing bowl. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup soy sauce mixture, breadcrumbs and egg; mix in pork. Using damp hands, shape into 16 evenly sized meatballs. Bake on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet in a preheated 400° oven until done (about 15 min.). Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; add cooked meatballs and remaining sauce to the pan. Cook and stir until sauce thickens and glazes the meatballs (2-3 min.). Serve immediately.
