Cady Creek Farms

Cady Creek Farms

Nestled in the rolling hills of western Wisconsin, just a short drive from the Twin Cities, the Cady Cheese Factory has been crafting exceptional cheese for more than a century. Its roots trace back to 1908, when Swiss immigrant Fred Bohren began making German Brick cheese for local dairy farmers. Through changing ownership, devastating fires and decades of growth, one thing has remained constant: a commitment to producing outstanding Wisconsin cheese.

In 1963, Norman and Delores Marcott purchased the factory and expanded the operation, later adding a retail store and modernizing production. After a fire destroyed much of the creamery in 1991, the family rebuilt a larger, state-of-the-art facility that continues the tradition of quality cheesemaking today.

Now part of Burnett Dairy Cooperative, Cady Creek Farms cheeses are handcrafted in small batches under the direction of Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker Bruce Willis. From milled-curd Cheddar Longhorn and Monterey Jack to signature Gold'n Jack, every cheese reflects the same dedication to quality and craftsmanship that has defined the creamery for more than a century.
