Peace Coffee's mission is simple: to make exceptional-tasting, organic, fairly traded coffee that sustains the livelihoods of the people who grow, roast and sell it; preserves the environments that produce it; and delights the taste buds of those who drink it.

Founded in 1996 through a series of conversations with Mexican coffee farmers, Minneapolis-based Peace Coffee has remained true to that mission from the very beginning. Through direct relationships with small-scale coffee farmers around the globe, they source exceptional coffees that range from rich, crowd-pleasing everyday roasts to distinctive seasonal offerings. Their Alchemy Series celebrates the craft, science and meticulous care that goes into every cup, from tree to table.

Under the leadership of CEO Lee Wallace, who has guided the company since 2006, Peace Coffee has continued to champion sustainability at every level. From organic production and a solar-powered roasting facility to bicycle deliveries and biodiesel vehicles throughout the Twin Cities, the company strives to make a positive impact every step of the way while remaining true to the values on which it was founded.
