Did You Know?

Hot cocoa is made with cocoa powder, creating a smooth, chocolate-forward flavor and a light, drinkable texture. Hot chocolate, by contrast, is made by melting solid chocolate into milk and cream. The cocoa butter in the chocolate gives hot chocolate a richer, heavier mouthfeel, while hot cocoa offers a cleaner, more balanced sipping experience.
