Directions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together kalbi, honey, vinegar and brown sugar; set aside.
  2. Cut racks between ribs into 3-4 evenly sized pieces; sprinkle both sides evenly with seasoning salt.
  3. Place ribs in a pressure cooker. Pour in sauce; cook on high for 30 min.
  4. Use a natural pressure release for 30 min.; manually vent remaining pressure.
  5. Preheat a broiler.
  6. Transfer ribs to a foil-lined sheet pan, meaty side up. Brush some sauce from the cooker over the ribs; broil until edges start to look crisp (about 2 min.).
  7. Remove ribs from oven; tent with foil and set aside.
  8. While ribs rest, turn on the pressure cooker's sauté function; bring remaining sauce to a boil.
  9. In a small mixing bowl, combine cornstarch and water; whisk into sauce to thicken.
  10. Cut ribs into individual rib pieces; place on a platter.
  11. Drizzle ribs with sauce; garnish ribs with sesame seeds and onion.
  12. Serve ribs with remaining sauce on the side for dipping.

Tasty Tips:

  • You can also cook these ribs in a slow cooker for 8 hrs. on low heat; broil as directed. Pour remaining sauce from the slow cooker into a saucepan; thicken on the stovetop over medium-high heat as directed above.
  • Kowalski's Original Kalbi Marinade may be used instead of Kickin' Kalbi.
