Steakhouse Tenderloins

Ingredients

1 tbsp. Kowalski's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 beef tenderloin steaks (6 oz. each)
- Kowalski's Signature Northwoods Grill Seasoning (from the Meat Department)

Heat an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat for 5 min.; add olive oil. Sear steaks in oil on one side until a deep brown crust forms (4-5 min.). Flip steaks; season cooked side with seasoning. Move pan to a preheated 425° oven; roast to desired doneness (5-9 min.). Remove pan from oven; rest steaks 5 min. Season second side; serve immediately.

Tasty Tips:

  • Roast steaks in oven 5 min. for rare, 7 min. for medium-rare and 9 min. for medium.
  • If your sauté pan has a plastic handle, cover it with several layers of aluminum foil before placing the pan in the oven.
  • It may get smoky when searing the first side of each steak. This is normal, so have the exhaust fan over the stove on.
