Cherry and Cheese Charmers

8 oz. Kowalski's Dried Cherries
- hot water, as needed
⅓ cup finely chopped pecans
⅓ cup Kowalski's Pure Honey, plus more for garnish
1 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- zest of 1 lemon
¾ tsp. kosher salt
¼ tsp. finely minced fresh rosemary leaves, plus small sprigs for garnish
30 frozen mini fillo shells, thawed
3-4 oz. Gruyère cheese, thinly sliced
Order Groceries
  1. Place cherries in a shallow baking dish. Add just enough hot water to cover; soak cherries for 20 min.
  2. Drain cherries; gently squeeze to remove extra liquid.
  3. Coarsely chop drained cherries.
  4. In a medium mixing bowl, toss together chopped cherries, pecans, honey, lemon juice, zest, salt and rosemary.
  5. Divide mixture evenly among fillo shells; drizzle with honey.
  6. Garnish each pastry with bits of sliced cheese and a fresh rosemary sprig.


Tasty Tip:

  • The filling for these pastries makes a delicious mix-in for plain Greek yogurt.
