Ingredients

1 ½ cups low-fat cottage cheese
1 slice Kowalski's Signature Artisan Bread (from the Artisan Bread Table)
- toppings (your choice), to taste: Kowalski's Mixed Berry Jam, sliced veggies (such as tomato, cucumber and avocado) or sliced fruits (such as bananas and berries)

Directions
  1. In a mini food processor or blender, process cheese until very smooth, creamy and lightly whipped.
  2. Toast bread to desired doneness.
  3. Spread about 2 tbsp. whipped cottage cheese on toast; reserve extra for another day.
  4. Top toast as desired; serve immediately.

Tasty Tip:

  • A 2 tbsp. serving of whipped cottage cheese has about 4 g of protein. Amp up the protein level of your toast by adding sliced hard-boiled eggs, smoked salmon or sliced deli turkey.
