Mummy Pops
Ingredients
- Kowalski's Plain Donut Holes (from the Bakery Department)
- ice pop or craft sticks
white chocolate melting discs or almond bark, for dipping and drizzling the donut pops
1 tube
black decorating gel, for eyes
- thin strips of frayed gauze, for arms
1
Mason jar
- candy corn and candy pumpkins (enough to fill the jar)
Directions
- Arrange donut holes on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Insert an ice pop stick halfway into each donut hole.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl deep enough for dipping, melt white chocolate according to pkg. directions. Dip pops in melted white chocolate, turning to coat all sides; return to parchment-lined baking sheet or insert sticks into a piece of packaging foam, pop-side up, to keep them round.
- Refrigerate until coating is set (at least 15 min.).
- Reheat remaining white chocolate, if necessary. Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle white chocolate back and forth over pops to create mummy bandages; refrigerate until set.
- Using black decorating gel, add 2 eyes to each mummy pop.
- Tie a strip of frayed gauze around each stick, just below the donut hole, to create arms.
- Fill Mason jar with candy corn and candy pumpkins; arrange mummy pops in jar.
