Garlic Bread Butter

Makes enough for a 10-16 oz. French or Italian loaf or 1 French baguette


½ cup (1 stick) Kowalski's Salted Butter, at room temperature
4 cloves garlic, mashed to a paste with 1 sprinkle of kosher salt or ¾ tsp. Kowalski's Garlic Powder
- freshly ground Kowalski's Black Peppercorns, to taste
4 tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tbsp. very finely minced fresh herbs (such as Italian parsley, basil, oregano or rosemary) or 1 ½ tsp. dried herbs (optional)
Order Groceries
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Blend until well combined.
  3. Serve it on toast, as in our recipe for Texas Toast.

Tasty Tips:

  • Use leftover butter to make a scrumptious grilled cheese sandwich!
  • If using unsalted butter, add ¼-½ tsp. kosher salt to taste.
  • Try Kowalski's Pizza Seasoning or Kowalski's Italian Seasoning in place of the 1 ½ tsp. dried herbs.
