Buffalo Bison Burgers
              Buffalo Bison Burger on a Pretzel Bun
            
            
          Ingredients
  1 lb.
ground bison (or beef)

Kowalski's Pretzel Burger Buns (from the Bakery Department), lightly toasted
  
                                  
  
- toppings, to taste: Buffalo wing sauce, Blue Cheese Aioli (recipe below), Bibb lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, celery leaves and thickly sliced tomatoes
  
                      Directions
          - Preheat grill to high heat; clean grill grates.
 - Using clean hands, form bison into 4 patties.
 - Grill burgers over direct heat, covered, until done (about 4 min. per side for medium doneness), turning once.
 - Remove from heat; tent loosely with foil and let stand for 3-5 min.
 - Serve burgers on buns with desired toppings.
 
BLUE CHEESE AIOLI: In a small mixing bowl, combine ½ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles, 1 clove finely minced garlic, a dash of Worcestershire sauce and freshly ground Kowalski’s Black Peppercorns to taste.
