Seasonal Supper: Swedish Sliders

Our latest "Seasonal Supper" is another mash-up, this time a burger-meets-meatloaf sandwich. Inspired by a dish offered in the Hamline Church Dining Hall at the Minnesota State Fair, this recipe for Swedish Sliders uses our prepared Wild Rice Meatloaf as a stand-in for their cranberry wild rice meatballs. The nutty, rich meat mixture pairs perfectly with creamy dill-flecked Havarti cheese and a sweet-tart combo of Swedish lingonberry jam and pickled onions. It’s a simple, satisfying, savory snack that’s great as a slider, but you can surely try it as a full-size sandwich, too.
