Sweet Red Pepper Dip

¾ cup chopped walnuts, toasted
12 oz. jar roasted red peppers, well drained
1 tbsp. molasses, plus extra for garnish, if desired
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. lemon zest
- juice of ½ lemon
½ tsp. whole cumin seeds
¼ tsp. ground cumin (or more to taste)
- pinch cayenne pepper
- kosher salt and freshly ground Kowalski's Black Peppercorns, to taste
1 ½-3 tbsp. Kowalski's Extra Virgin Olive Oil, as desired
- Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps, for dipping

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients except oil in a food processor; process until smooth.
  2. Slowly drizzle in oil through an oil spout until mixture is glossy, smooth and reaches desired consistency.
  3. Adjust seasoning to taste; drizzle with molasses, if desired.

Tasty Tip:

  • Substitute 4 freshly roasted red peppers (stemmed, peeled and seeded) for the jarred peppers, if desired.
