Cinnamon Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
  1 ¾ cups
sugar, divided
  
                                  
  1 tbsp.
Kowalski's Vietnamese Cinnamon
  
                                  
  ½ cup
shortening
  
                                  
  ½ cup
Kowalski's Unsalted Butter, at room temperature
  
                                  
  2
eggs
  
                                  
  2 ¾ cups
flour
  
                                  
  2 tsp.
cream of tartar
  
                                  
  1 tsp.
baking soda
  
                                  
  ¼ tsp.
salt
  
                      Directions
          - Preheat oven to 400°.
 - In a small mixing bowl, combine ¼ cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
 - In a large mixing bowl, beat remaining sugar, shortening, butter and eggs with an electric mixer on medium speed.
 - Stir in remaining ingredients.
 - Shape dough into 1 ¼" balls; roll in cinnamon sugar. Place 2" apart on parchment-lined baking sheets; bake in preheated oven until centers are almost set (about 10 min.).
 - Remove from oven; cool completely on wire racks.
