Banana Caramel Sauce

Makes 1 cup


2-3 tbsp. heavy cream
1 cup Kowalski's Classic Caramel Sauce
1 banana, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp. finely chopped walnuts, toasted
Order Groceries
  1. In a separate microwave-safe dish, gently warm cream in the microwave until hot but not scalding (do not allow to boil); keep warm.
  2. In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, heat caramel sauce in the microwave until loose and very warm but not scalding (30-40 sec.).
  3. Stir in enough warm cream to loosen sauce to desired consistency.
  4. Very gently stir in bananas and walnuts.
  5. Serve immediately with ice cream, crêpes, waffles, pancakes or our German Pancake recipe.

Tasty Tip:

  • Toast nuts in a dry sauté pan over medium heat or in a preheated 350° oven until fragrant and golden, stirring occasionally (3-5 min.).
