Local Lover's Salad
Ingredients

Bibb lettuce
½ cup (approx.)
Salad Girl Organic Crisp Apple Maple Vinaigrette (from the Produce Department)

Minnesota Grown SweeTango apple, cored and diced (peeled, if desired)
2 oz.
Jeffs' Select Gouda (from the Specialty Cheese Department), shredded or finely diced
¼ cup
Sugared Sliced Almonds
Directions
- Remove core from lettuce; separate leaves. Wash lettuce in ice-cold water; drain thoroughly in a salad spinner until very dry.
- In a large salad or mixing bowl, toss lettuce with dressing to taste.
- Top salad with remaining ingredients; drizzle with additional dressing to taste.
Tasty Tip:
- Minnesota Grown apples are fresher by miles, which is why we recommend them in this recipe. When local options are unavailable, fresh apples grown elsewhere may be used.
