If packed in water, blot cheese with a paper towel to dry thoroughly; rub evenly on all sides with oil. If necessary, slice cheese in half so it is no more than ¾" thick. Grill cheese over a grill preheated to medium-high heat, covered, until dark grill marks form and cheese softens (about 5 min. per side), turning once. Place cheese on a serving dish. Drizzle cheese with lemon juice and oil; sprinkle with pepper. Serve immediately with grilled bread, almonds and fig spread.
