Basil Gin and Gingers

- ice
4 large leaves fresh basil, plus 2 very small sprigs for garnish
1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
2 oz. gin
10 oz. cold ginger ale
2 lime wedges, for garnish
  1. Fill 2 lowball glasses with ice; set aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle 4 large leaves of basil with lime juice.
  3. Add gin and ice; shake to combine.
  4. Strain mixture evenly into ice-filled glasses; top evenly with ginger ale.
  5. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and small sprig of basil.
