Blue-Avocado Crostini

Makes 20 pieces

Ingredients

1 ripe avocado, diced
1 tbsp. Kowalski's Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice (from the Produce Department)
¼ tsp. freshly ground Kowalski’s Sea Salt
¼ tsp. freshly ground Kowalski's Black Peppercorns
20 slices crostini
6 oz. crumbled soft blue cheese
2 tbsp. smoked almonds, crushed
- a few dashes Tabasco sauce

Directions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, mash avocado with salt, pepper, lime juice and Tabasco.
  2. Spread a little avocado mixture on each crostini; sprinkle with a little crumbled blue cheese and almonds.
  3. Serve immediately.
