chopped raw almonds

raw pepitas
½ cup
raw sunflower seeds
⅓ cup
flax seeds
⅓ cup
Kowalski's Everything Bagel Seasoning (from the Spice Aisle)
½ cup
Kowalski's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
⅓ cup
tahini (from the Global Foods Aisle)
3 tbsp.
Kowalski's Pure Honey
2 tsp.
Kowalski's Ground Cumin
2 tsp.
Kowalski's Hungarian Paprika
2 tsp.
kosher salt
1 tsp.
freshly ground Kowalski's Black Peppercorns
1 tsp.
Kowalski's Ground Chipotle Chile Powder
½ tsp.
Kowalski's Ground Cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss together first 6 ingredients (through bagel seasoning); set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl, add remaining ingredients; whisk to combine.
- Pour oil mixture over oat mixture; stir until well coated.
- Pour onto a large rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper; bake in preheated oven until granola is dark on the edges (20-30 min.), stirring 2-3 times.
- Remove from oven; let granola cool on pan for 45 min.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. Serve alone or over yogurt with other savory garnishes (such as chopped tomatoes and cucumber, thinly sliced red onion and fresh dill fronds).
Tasty Tips:
- Increase or reduce the spice in this recipe by adjusting the chipotle powder.
- Cashews, pecans, walnuts and pistachios can all be used in place of almonds.
